We are a research group investigating energy conversion and storage in nanostructures. We develop new materials, devices and systems by engineering interactions at both macro- and micro-scales. Our current emphasis is on thermoelectric energy conversion using 2D materials, novel heat exchanger design for waste heat recovery, enhanced heat transfer through mesoscale heat pipe geometries, economic additively manufactured heat pipes, technologies to test nanomechanical resonators and thermomechanical simulations and experiments.
